FFA Alumni Chapters To Host Benefit Auction

Get ready to bid for the Blue and Gold! The Amery, Turtle Lake, Unity and Luck FFA Alumni chapters will team up to host their next FFA Alumni Benefit Auction and Dinner on Saturday, March 28, at BrowTine Restaurant and Event Center, just off U.S. Highway 8 north of Amery on County Road H.
A taco bar will be served from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The cost per plate is $8. The first 175 people to purchase meal tickets also will receive a token for free frozen custard at Culver’s. An ice cream sundae bar also will be available that evening, hosted by the Amery FFA Dairy Evaluation and Management Team.
The exciting live auction will kick off at 6:30 p.m., with Jenny Bergmann of Clayton taking bids. A wide variety of items will be sold, including tickets to see various sports teams including the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Timberwolves, St. Paul Saints and Milwaukee Milkmen; a team-autographed Green Bay Packers football; several pedal tractors of various brands; artwork; jewelry; hand-painted barn quilts; clothing; tools; firewood; meat; agricultural and garden supplies; golf packages; and many gift cards and certificates to a wide variety of area businesses.
A five-day African hunting safari for two or four people, donated by Wild Wildebeest Lodge in South Africa, is being offered online only in the days leading up to the auction through Robbie’s Auction Service in Amery. For details, visit www.robbiesoldit.com or call (715) 716-4411.
A silent auction, bag auction and 50/50 drawing also are planned.
All auction proceeds will go to the FFA Alumni chapters at Amery, Turtle Lake, Luck and Unity to assist FFA members with scholarships, travel and program support.
