School Pushes Through With In-Class Education Amid Pandemic Issues
“We couldn’t have gotten this far into the year without all of our Laker students and staff going above and beyond,” Kent Kindschy, Superintendent of Turtle Lake Schools, said in reference to the Turtle Lake Schools having the fortune of being able to stay open throughout the Covid pandemic while other schools throughout the state, and the nation, have had to go to virtual learning. “Teachers are cleaning desks and chairs between each class, custodians are working to make sure all touchpoints and bathrooms are disinfected three times a day, the office staff is tracking cases and contact tracing and all support staff have added duties. In addition, our students have been awesome with the masks and additional rules. It is great to see everyone step up for a new common goal – to stay in school.” SEE COMPLETE STORY IN THE TIMES OR READ ONLINE WITH PAID SUBSCRIPTION.
