Delores Marjorie Potvin

     Delores Marjorie Potvin, 90, of Cumberland died, February 16, 2021 at Care and Rehab-Cumberland. She was born September 25, 1930 in River Falls, WI to John and Theresa (Johnson) Barr. While Ed Levy may not have been her biological father, he was ‘Pa’ to her.
     She was married to Douglas Potvin on September 9, 1950 at St. Mary’s Church in Cumberland.
     Delores loved to make quilts for family, baby hats and quilts for Hope Missions, traveling, fishing, and playing cards (especially Penny Ante).
     She is survived by her husband: Douglas; children: Gloria (Greg) Stokes, Janet Diercks, Darlene (Greg) Buckner, Bryan Potvin, Carla Potvin and Dean Potvin; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; siblings: Norman Levy, and Bernice Van Cauteren; nieces, nephews and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Greg; parents, Ed and Theresa Levy; sister, Phyllis Adascheck; grandson, Chad Stokes.
     Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2021 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Tom Thompson officiating. Burial was held at Lakeview Cemetery in      Turtle Lake following the service. Pallbearers were Brent Potvin, Bryce Organ, David Adascheck, Josh Jackson, Max Jackson, Greg Buckner.
Delores’ family would like to thank the caring staff of Cumberland Care and Rehab for the excellent love and care they gave her.
