Food Pantry Donation

Dave Wozniak, left, presents a $500 donation from the Wozniak family to Turtle Lake Food Pantry volunteer Joyce Hagen. The donation will benefit the new pantry building fund. The new Food Pantry is completed and up and running. Volunteers are there every Tuesday from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. to hand out food to any needy members of the community. The volunteers continue to fundraise in order to make a final payment on the new building. They are also fundraising for a new walk-in freezer to store all of the frozen foods. The new walk-in freezer will be more accessible and energy efficient in the continuation of storage needs. The Food Pantry volunteers would like to encourage those in need of help to please stop in and see them and tour the new facility. And as always, all donations are appreciated and needed.
