Board Feels Village Manager May Be Better Option Than An Administrator
During a special meeting Thursday, March 4 the Turtle Lake Village Board discussed options of how to proceed in the search of a new administrator. Former Village Administrator, Scott Hildebrand, tendered a letter of resignation effective February 12, 2021. At the regular board meeting held in February, Trustees and department heads discussed what qualities they would like to see in an administrator. Some of those qualities included experience in the financial processes, ability to handle grant applications, working with new and current businesses, participate in community events and organizations, experience with economic growth and new construction, communication – not only within the inner circle of the Village but also throughout the Village with the residents and businesses.
