Student Clean Up During Earth Day

Students and staff from Turtle Lake High School traveled to Horseshoe Lake last Thursday to assist with clean-up efforts at the Beaver Town Hall and Horseshoe Lake boat landing. “For their excellent efforts, all of those involved deserve an A+ grade,” said Horseshoe Lake District Director Steve Eichman.

Turtle Lake third grade students participated in the annual Earth Day cleanup throughout the Village of Turtle Lake and surrounding area by cleaning up around the Turtle Lake Museum’s Wedding Chapel last Thursday, April 22. “The students and staff were great and the grounds look wonderful,” museum volunteers said. “Thanks for making the World a better place by acting locally.”
