David Paul Bosley

     David Paul Bosley, age 81 of Maplewood, MN. passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 25, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Dave was born on August 15, 1939 in Turtle Lake to Paul and Irene Bosley. Dave grew up on the family farm, now designated a Century Farm, with his two sisters and two brothers. He graduated from Turtle Lake High School in 1957.
     After graduation, Dave enlisted in the United States Army for two years where he had the opportunity to serve overseas in Germany as part of the engineering corps building bridges.
     From the Army he returned stateside to the big city of St Paul, Minnesota. After several odd jobs he landed a position with 3M Companies. Dave enjoyed 20+ years with 3M, working in various departments where he formed close friendships with co-workers that would last his lifetime.
After he retired from 3M, he spent many hours volunteering at First Lutheran on building projects and renovations. Most mornings he could be found at the local YMCA enjoying a yoga class or outside tending to his lawn, flowers and tomatoes. He will be remembered for his kindness, gentleness and love for family and friends
     Dave is survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Carol (Ek) Bosley; children: Toni (Joe) Monforton, Julie (Glenn) Bearden, Keith (Pam) Peterson, Greg (Lynn ) Peterson, Kaylene (Jeff) Schoeberl; nine grandchildren, sisters Jan Andersen, Joyce (Bob) Gerber, brothers Dan (Kathy) Bosley and Ben Bosley.
Funeral services to be held at First Lutheran Church (463 Maria Ave. St. Paul, MN 55106) on Saturday, June 19th at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one-hour prior. Burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Maplewood Minnesota. Memorials preferred to First Lutheran Church.
