What began as a sewer and water main project in the Village’s northwest subdivision has been put temporarily on hold so the project can be rebid with an extended deadline. Only two bids were received originally – A-1 Excavating ($1,045,169.00) and Stout Construction ($956,628.35). With streets in the neighborhood west of the St. Croix Casino in dire need of repair, the project will now include streets, gutters, etc. The board reviewed financing options with Sean Lentz, of Ehler’s at their most recent board meeting. It was agreed to rebid the project with an extended deadline to complete the work.
