Wicks Wackers Come Out On Top

The 2021 golf league season closed with the event of the year – Wick Whackers vs Bogieman.This annual steak challenge started in 1975 to see which team purchased steaks for the other. The Bogiemen still hold a one game lead but Wick’s Whackers won the 2021 match with a 36.50 to 35.66 net team average score. The winning well-fed team, pictured above, includes, front row, left to right: Pat Wick, Lloyd Popenhagen, Jon Young and Ron Welle, Back row: Joe Hellstern, Bill Scribner, Marty Jansen, Gary Taxdahl and Mark Wick.
