School District Mill Rate At Historic Low, Student Enrollment On The Rise As Future Referendum Proposed

While the Turtle Lake School District is in it’s final year of their current referendum, plans are being put in place to present the next referendum to the voters of the district. It is projected to be an estimated $5.5-million, five-year referendum slated for operation purposes only. The referendum will be presented to the voters in April 2022. Administrator Kent Kindschy has traveled throughout the District presenting the health of the school presently, and what lies ahead, to various municipalities.
