Minnesota man charged with cutting copper wire from utility pole

According to the complaint the Barron County Sheriff’s Department received a call at 4:56 p.m. on Saturday, June 25 of a male subject cutting copper wire off of a utility pole on Hwy. 8 near 3rd street. The caller said the subject threw the copper wire in the back of a white truck and left eastbound on Hwy. 8. The caller had been traveling north on 3rd Street when he observed the incident.
