Barron County Remains At High Risk Covid Level

Since dropping to a medium Covid-19 community level two weeks ago, Barron County has seen 64 and 88 new weekly cases. Those numbers have sent the county into a high community level, meaning residents are reccommended to wear a mask indoors in public, get tested if you have symptoms, take additional precautions as needed if you are at high risk for severe illness and stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines. No new deaths were reported this week. The total number of deaths remained at 141.

COVID-19 Community Levels are a new tool to help communities decide what prevention steps to take based on the latest data. Levels can be low, medium, or high and are determined by looking at hospital beds being used, hospital admissions, and the total number of new COVID-19 cases in an area. Take precautions to protect yourself and others from COVID-19 based on the COVID-19 Community Level in your area.
