Laker Football Looking For Spring Clean Up Opportunities
The Turtle Lake football team is conducting a community service-based fundraiser that will result in the team completing four hours of work in and around the Turtle Lake community on Saturday, May 1st from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon.
The team is collecting pledges and donations for work that could include spring-cleaning tasks such as yard clean up, moving lawn furniture, or anything else that would be helpful. We would like to ask your help with identifying people in and around the community who need assistance with any spring-cleaning tasks. Due to the increasing amount of jobs that we have been asked to do over the years, we are limiting the time for a single job to a maximum of 45 minutes.
Letters will be sent out by players to friends and family members. If you did not receive a letter and are interested in supporting this fundraiser, please contact the Turtle Lake School with any names of people that might appreciate some assistance. You will be asked to give a description of the job that needs completing and the location where it needs to done. You can also contact the football coaches (Doug Kahl, Trent Nyhus, Neil Bygd, Troy Wagner, Ben Kisling, Ryan Donath, Keefe Tarman, Josh Distad), football team members, or members of the Turtle Lake Lions Club with any suggestions.
