TC Girls Open Season With Win Over Webster/Siren

Sophia Ellis was a homerun shy of the cycle, going 4 for 4 with 3 runs batted in and 2 runs scored as the TC softball girls opened the 2021 season with a 9-5 road win over Webster/Siren Thursday, April 29. After opening the season with a win over Webster/Siren the TC girls were shell-shocked Friday, April 30 when the Pirates rolled into town and left with a 12-0, one hit, five-inning win. The Pirates set the tone early, scoring 9 times in the top of the first. They put up two more in the 4th and one more in the 5th, making it a short afternoon.
