Koinonia Singers To Present Performance
The Koinonia Singers will be presenting what has become an annual performance for the area Tuesday, June 22, at 7:00 p.m. at the Turtle Lake Village Park, located at the intersection of Hwy. 8 and Hwy. 63 north. In case of bad weather the performance will be held at Grace Community Church located on Swede Avenue on the southwest corner of Turtle Lake.
The Koinonia Singers are a ministry of Koinonia Youth Ministry (formerly Rock County Youth for Christ) in the Janesville/ Milton area. The Koinonia Youth Ministry strives to invest in the lives of youth in the community through Koinonia Youth Group night, Bible Study night, Release Time (during the school year), Koinonia Singers, and many extra activities.
Each year during the last two weeks of June, the Koinonia Singers tour the state with their original production. The Singers seeks to bring the Good News of Jesus to each community they enter through an active and lively musical drama. So come out to see the high school memers in this year’s show where they will show the audience that Jesus really is someone that we can know.
The Koinonia Singers’ performance is hosted by Grace Community Church and Parkview United Methodist Church and is open to the public. Bring your lawn chairs for an enjoyable event.
