SUCCESSFUL DIG PINK EVENT

It was another very successful outpouring of support for the Laker volleyball team’s annual Dig Pink event. This year the Lakers met the Shell Lake Lakers Thursday night, October 5 on the local court. The volleyball program posted their sentiments on a social media page. “The Turtle Lake Volleyball teams can not thank the Turtle Lake and Shell Lake communities enough. It is because of the generous people in our communities that donated baskets, quilts, baked goods, gift cards and money that we raised over $3800 to donate to three very deserving recipients: the Kim Russell family, the Tricia Molls family and the Cumberland Healthcare Oncology Department. Each recipient should receive around $1,200.”
