Canine Inspired Change Camp

The annual (CIC) camp was held recently at the Turtle Lake schools. This is the fifth year this camp has been offered to interested area students. CIC, based in St Paul, MN, supports our community by offering trauma informed, group therapy dog sessions that support our participants in dealing with social struggles and isolation by sparking meaningful relationships with our therapy dogs, volunteers and each other. A mini golf fundraiser was held at B-Dale Club in Roseville, MN to cover student expenses. Students attending included Bennett Beaver, Charlie Miller, Jonathan Wuorenma, Ryan Springer, Camryn Glynn, Rhett Barnes, Oskar Knipfer and Sumer Scoglio. Therapy dog handlers were Kaitlyn Good, Jess Springer, Amy Johnson, Kelly Leith and Mark Stary. Lioness Club Volunteers included Margie Stary, Cheryl Pitch, Cheryl Leisz, Ginnie Moyer and Missy Stanley.
