Bella Wright Crowned Regional Champ

Bella Wright was crowned Regional Champion in the 235-lb. bracket Friday evening at the WIAA Division 3 Girls Regional Wrestling Tournament held in St. Croix Falls. She will now advance to the Sectionals Friday, February 20 in Ladysmith. She will be competing in a four girls bracket and will meet Sawyer Olson, a 23-7 freshman from Luck/Frederic/Grantsburg/Siren in her first round match. Savannah Whiting, a 14-12 sophomore from Prescott will be matched up with Rainie Yang, a 38-7 junior from Eau Claire North in the other side of the bracket.
