ROBERT FREDRICK

Robert LeRoy Fredrick, age 92, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
Robert was born January 13,1934 in Minneapolis, MN to Leo Fredrick and Elsie (Wilhelm) Fredrick. Robert attended school at Horseshoe Lake Country School and graduated from Turtle Lake High School in May of 1952. A couple years after graduation, Robert entered the Army on November 4, 1954. He took his basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO and then was later shipped to Karlsruhe, Germany for almost two years. Robert serviced in the Korean War and left active duty on October 25, 1956.
Robert met the love of his life Dorothy Marie Utecht, and they were united in marriage July 18, 1959. The family moved to Amery in 1969 and made their home on a small hobby farm where they continued to raise their six children.
Robert worked for Local 343 union as an electrician. He spent many years traveling for his job. After leaving the union Robert worked several different jobs as an electrician and spent time working on the Alaskan Pipeline. After retirement in 1996 he spent time doing mission work with Mission Bible Training Center in Gaastra, MI and Volunteers for Mission. He did private electrical work, and his greatest passion was spending hours in his garage scrapping anything recyclable.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Fredrick; two brothers, Jack Fredrick and Gerald Fredrick; his sister, Leatrice Fredrick and son-in law, Richard Johnson.
He is survived by his children, Laurie Evans, James (Sandy) Fredrick, Gary (Mary) Fredrick, Debbie (Tom) Mattie, William Fredrick and Melissa Johnson; three sisters, Bev, Kathy, and Sharon; three brothers, Kevin, Gary, and Sheldon; 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and many other loving family and friends.
Visitation for Robert will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery, WI. A Funeral Service, along with Military Honors, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Williamson-White Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date at the Amery Cemetery in Amery, WI.
