Time To Reserve Your Community Garden Spot

The summer growing season is upon us and there is sttill time to reserve your very own Community Garden spot.
Would you like to garden next to a friend? Is this your first year of gardening? Are you a senior citizen with special needs. Just let the Community Education advisors at the school know and they can answer all your questions and help you get on your way to your very own fresh food grown in your own plot.
The School District of Turtle Lake welcomes the community to come together to grow fresh food, share knowledge and care for the environment. Raised beds with a water source are available on site.
People of all ages can connect, learn, and help build a healthier, greener community, one plant at a time.
The garden spots are located on the south side of the school by the auditorium doors, 205 Oak Street North, Turtle Lake.
A short and simple application is available at https://www.turtlelake.k12.wi.us/page/community-edrec. There is a $5.00 donation per site to help cover garden expenses.
For more information contact Malissa Betz, Community Ed Director at mbetz@turtlelake. k12.wi.us.
