Two Seeking Miss Turtle Lake Title With Two Seeking Little Miss Turtle Lake Title

Two young ladies are seeking the title of Miss Turtle Lake at this year’s Turtle Lake Inter-Co. Fair, Friday through Sunday, July 10 – 12, 2026. In addition, two young ladies are also seeking the title of Little Miss Turtle Lake.
Senior royalty contestants must have been 16 years of age by January 1 following coronation day to 18 years of age on coronation day.
Junior royalty must be entering 3rd or 4th grade in the upcoming school year.
All royalty contestants must be enrolled in Turtle Lake School at the time of coronation.
On Friday night, July 10, at 6:00 p.m., all reigning royalty, contestants, parents and sponsors will be introduced on stage and then coronation will take place. The reigning royalty will give their farewell speeches, followed by the coronation of the new Little Miss Turtle Lake and Princess. Then the new Miss Turtle Lake will be crowned by outgoing Miss Turtle Lake Katelyn Pabst. The new Little Miss Turtle Lake will be crowned by outgoing Little Miss Turtle Lake Olivia Olson.
This year’s contestants for Miss Turtle Lake are Abigail Henck and Lacey Popenhagen.
Abi Henck is sponsored by Moon Lake Valley Stock Farm and the daughter of Pat and Missy Henck.
Lacey Popenhagen is sponsored by BPG Lakeside and the daughter of Bob and Jen Popenhagen.
Little Miss Turtle Lake contestants are Tenley Orf and Rylie Allen.
Tenley is the daughter of Josh and Taylor Orf. Tenley would like to be Little Miss Turtle Lake because, “I would love to ride on the float, wave to people and meet new friends.”
Rylie is the daughter of Gina Allen and Eric Mongiat. Rylie would like to be Little Miss Turtle Lake because, “I have lived in Turtle Lake my entire life and I love it here. I love my school and I love my friends. My grandparents and mt uncle live here also.”
“I love going to the Turtle Lake fair every year. My great grandpa lived here and after he passed, my family planted a tree in memory of him outside the Hotel Bar. Every time my family and I go for a walk we walk by great grandpas tree and we pay our respects to him. I love him very much and I wish I could have met at least one time. My mom says he would have really loved me.”
