Mascot Cost Increase, Van Purchase Among Items Approved By School Board

“The students have nearly raised the $10,000 for the mascot, but due to the fact it didn’t come with a fan, bag or ice pack, those items have been added which will bring the total cost of the mascot to $11,900.00,” explained high school principal Jason Hinze to the Turtle Lake school board at the most recent meeting. “I am approaching the board regarding approval of the extra money. We can pay the money now or wait until the money is raised. I am confident the the students can raise the additional funds.
