A six-run second inning propelled the #5 TC baseball squad to a 9-6 win over the #4 Grantsburg Pirates in opening round of playoff action Thursday, June 10 in Grantsburg.      The Turtle Lake Golf Team was recently named East Lakeland Conference Champions for the 2021 Golf Season.      The East Lakeland Conference also recently named the all-conference teams.      The Turtle Lake/Clayton golf team recently won the East Lakeland Conference title for the third year in a row. The conference meet was held at Turtleback Golf Course in Rice Lake on Thursday, May 27th. Sophomore Drew Torgerson was also voted co-conference player of the year. Highlights from the meet were Mariah Thill’s second place finish in the 100m dash & 3oom hurdles and first place finish in the 200m dash. With the score knotted at 6-6 Jaylee Humphrey lined a single to center, scoring Sophia Ellis and Chloe Jackson, giving the TC girls an 8-6 lead.
