Benefit Being Held To Aid Cancer Patient

A benefit will be held Saturday, October 16, from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Brow Tine Center for an area patient.

Jessica (Grosskreutz) Balog has been diagnosed with melanoma that has metastasized throughout her brain and body. According to family and friends Jessica, a 42-year old wife and mother of two firls, is focused on spiritual healing along with conventional treats and is determined to win the fight.

Currently Jessica is unable to work. Proceeds from the event will go towards helping her family with medical bills, living expenses, along with travel to and from her treatments.

A pulled pork dinner has been put together, as well as 50/50 drawings, a silent auction, raffles, face painting and snow cones.

A Balog Family fund has been set up at Westconsin Credit Union. Donations can be sent to 1060 Cornwall Ave., Amery, WI 54001.
