Textbooks, Track Project Highlight School Board Meeting Discussions

A lengthy discussion revolved around new textbooks for the K-10 English Language Arts Department.
High School Principial Jason Hinze started out by explaining the goal was to increase test scores and help the teachers with a curriculum. Presently teachers utilized textbooks but are pulling resources from them and the internet. Purchasing this new system, available by SpringBoard, teachers would have everything they need at their fingertips. There would be no textbooks, but their would be workbooks and online resources for the students and teachers. Students would be able to complete their work online.
