One week in for students

Mrs. Wright’s first grade classroom has taken on a bit of a different configuration due to the Covid-19 pandemic that closed the Turtle Lake school for the final two-and-a-half months of last year’s school year. While a positive case was detected at the end of the three-week summer school session, no positive cases have been confirmed in the first week of school. Administrator Kent Kindschy said a few minor adjustments with timing for the lunch line has taken place but for the most part school is going great. As far as closing the school again, that would most like occur should the District not be able to find staff in case of positive results. This decision would be a collaborative decision between the school district and public health agencies.
