Library To Present Whale of a Tale Program
The Turtle Lake Public Library will be presenting an outdoor program Tuesday, July 27 titled Whale of a Tale. This program, part of a summer series sponsored by the Friends of the Turtle Lake Public Library, will feature some extemely large whale bones and will take visitors to the ocean to learn about whales, their ancestors, how they get to be so large and adaptaions that allow them to become the largest animals living. A collection of whale bones, presented by Colossal Fossils, will be available at the program being held in the Ritsche Pavalion.
